Ibiza Holiday Villas

I- DEFINITION
Ibiza Summer is an independent company that works on behalf of the owner of the property. The contract is stipulated between the owner represented by Ibiza Summer and the tenant.
You, our customer, when there is more than one of you, are each responsible for all obligations for the properties in full. The customer by making a deposit payment is deemed to have confirmed the contract and to have accepted these terms and conditions.

 

II-BOOKING
You must pay 50% of the rental price on making your booking. The remaining 50% must be paid in cash on your arrival.
You will receive a confirmation of your booking by e-mail. Should you wish to receive a booking confirmation by post please ask at the time of booking.
Additional costs such as gas, electricity and water are included in the price (excluding long lets of two months and longer).

 

III-TERM OF RENTAL ACCOMMODATION
Your property will be available from 15:00 on the day of your rental period until 10:00am on the last day. This can vary from villa to villa. At the end of this period you are obliged to return us the keys of the property. Any loss of keys will be charged at 50€ per key. Should your villa have a remote control for the electric gate, a loss of this remote will cost 100€. Unless authorized in writing by Ibiza Summer, you must not exceed the stipulated number of people allowed in the property. In the event that the maximum number is exceeded without prior agreement, the Property Owner reserves the right to refuse or revoke the booking at their sole discretion.

 

IV-CUSTOMER BEHAVIOUR
You must behave considerately towards others. If you cause unreasonable annoyance, noise, damage, crime or danger, we have the right to evict you. You agree not to do anything that might jeopardize any insurance cover on the property. No parties or functions such as weddings are allowed without our prior written consent. Any parties held without our consent may result in the loss of your security deposit. Music and any type of noise must be kept to a minimum between the hours of 00.00 and 8.00 daily.

CONCIERGE SERVICE
We will do our best to arrange all the suppliers for our concierge services. However we are not responsible for this as it will be provided by separate companies.

V-THE PROPERTY OWNER
The Property Owner or his/her representative shall be allowed access to the holiday accommodation at any reasonable time during any holiday occupancy for the purposes of inspection and maintenance.
Dealing with problems: It is a reality that problems can occur in any property, just as they do in your own home. Ibiza Summer Villas and owners will do their utmost to maintain the properties in full working order and act quickly if you find something at fault. It is a reality however that sometimes it simply isn’t possible to find a contractor or repairman on a Sunday afternoon to fix the swimming pool filter or the broken television.

BOOKING RESTRICTIONS
Bookings cannot be accepted from persons less than 18 years of age. We reserve the right to refuse a booking without any given reason.

VI-SECURITY DEPOSIT
An inventory and breakage deposit is required, usually € 1000 to protect against possible damage to the property or breach of these rental terms. The security deposit can also vary for different villas.

VII CANCELLATIONS.
In the unlikely event that it is necessary to make an alteration to or cancel the holiday accommodation specified, we will inform you as soon as possible and, if requested, we will try to arrange alternative holiday accommodation of a similar type and standard and in a similar location as that originally requested.  If the alternative holiday accommodation is not acceptable, we will refund in full all monies paid and shall be under no other liability.
All cancellations must be advised in writing and sent to the Company at Calle del Mar Nu1, Entre Suelo 2, Santa Eulalia del Rio, 07840, Ibiza. You must state the reason for the cancellation.
Please note that it is at The Property Owner’s discretion as to whether you are entitled to a refund of monies.
Should your villa booking be affected by Force majeure you are not entitled to a refund or compensation.
Force majeure means unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond the Company´s control, the consequence of which neither the Company´s could avoid even with all due care, including, but not limited to, war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity (actual or threatened), industrial dispute, unavoidable technical problems with transport, machinery or equipment, power failure, changes imposed by rescheduling or cancellation of flights by an airline, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, flood, drought, adverse weather conditions or epidemics.
In order to secure a refund or compensation please contact your Insurance Company in the first instance.
We strongly recommend that you secure adequate travel insurance, which should in most cases, include cover, under certain circumstances, against loss of deposit or cancellation fees, at the time of booking.

VIII-PRICES IN EUROS.
The prices given are in Euros and the rental period is weekly unless otherwise requested by our agency. In some cases many Property Owners will only accept bookings for a minimum of two weeks.

IX-CAUTION AND PERSONAL INJURY.
Unless we are negligent, we are not responsible for any personal injury to you. Many of the properties have dangers such as swimming pools, dry stone walls and unfenced drops. Please take care and caution. Children must always be supervised. The customer warrants they shall provide their own Holiday Insurance, neither the property owner nor representative will be held responsible to loss or damage of personal belongings or personal injury. It is also worth bearing in mind that holiday properties may not always offer the same standard of comfort and furnishing as your own home. They often reflect local styles, traditions and owners tastes. Comfort levels may be different, for example, kitchens may not include some equipment that is unique to your own kitchen.
