A Guide to Boat Parties!
Dancing or sunbathing with like-minded people, listening to the biggest anthems of the summer while Ibiza’s glorious coastline drifts past, gives a great sense of freedom.
Given the amount of promoters offering boat parties, there are a great many options. They send out armies of PR teams to offer their services and you will no doubt encounter them. Some offer better deals than others, so ensure you talk through with the seller exactly what they are offering:
Where do you depart from? Most parties depart San Antonio and Playa den Bossa, make sure you know exactly where from.
What time does it leave? The choice available means you can leave early in the morning (the earliest one is 6am!), or late afternoon. Don’t be late, they won’t wait for you!
How long does it last? Be sure to check, you don’t want to be looking forward to sunset and find you are going back to port!
What route does it take? Some sail around Es Vedra, some Ses Salinas, and others go out to sea and just ensure they are around the sunset strips at the best time.
What music genre? All are dance orientated, but each brand has their own concept. If you like the music at Pukka Up club nights, then that’s the boat party for you!
How much does it cost, and what do you get for your money? Prices range from €40 to €130. Most include at least one free drink, some offer a free bar, while others will throw in free entry to their club night!
A boat party is a fantastic way to kill two birds with one stone – enjoy a party on the waves and a sunset at the same time. Make sure to take some suncream, and go easy on the drinks!
